The Truth behind what you felt after watching "Avatar"

The "Avatar Effect"

The whole world has watched in awe as this epic

3D sensation has been causing ripples and echoes in

every place on earth that you could imagine. Who

hasn't watched the movie or seen the trailers,

with "bigscreen adverts" worldwide and lots of

media buzz.

At least you have heard of the movie even if you

have not watched it; it is presently gathering a lot of

media attention because of the sales that have been

made from the Box office. It is currently touted as

the number 2 movie of all time.

But hold on a second........

Can all of you who watched the movie tell me how

you truly felt after the movie ended or in the course

of watching....................?

Many of you have not been following the news

closely enough then!

There have widespread media reports of depression

and even contemplations of suicides by so many

people who have watched this "3D Masterpeice"

that any right thinking person will find it truly

disturbing!

What you have not been told is the actual number of

people who have actually engaged in self-harm or

injuring others as an indirect effect of viewing this

movie.

YES............................................................

Subconsciously, you've all experienced the

"AVATAR EFFECT" !

The "Avatar effect" is similar to a combination of

what you experience when you have withdrawal

symptoms of an addictive drug in addition to

feeling the rush effect of the drug the first time you

ever get exposed to it. Some refer to it as

 "The Avatar Blues".

The Avatar effect is not yet scientifically backed

by any evidence of what it does subconciously to

your mind but many movie goers have attested to

the fact that they are finding it hard to cope

with thier "confused feelings" after watching the

movie.

So many forums have posts by people looking for

ways to cope with the dull, lifeless feeling they

now have from having watched it.

So many forums, blogs and websites talk about an

avatar effect relating the movie to global

warmingthe effect of the movie on the

worlds' movie industry and all that stuff but mark

my words - what you read here is the true meaning

and implication of the Avatar movie and this is a

growing threat that is just beginning...........

I will suggest that you do a Google search with the

search string "Avatar movie + Depression" and

go through the results.............

If that does not scare you then nothing else will.......!

From the scientific findings of studies on depression,

it would not be  impossible to assume that the

depression people have felt after viewing Avatar

occurs in a similar manner to "Classic Depression"

where, to put it simply, there is a depletion of

chemicals in the brain (called neurotransmitters-

SEROTONIN to be exact!)

such that it affects the ways we sleep, eat and

behave. The depletion of this neurotransmitter

affects our feelings and we generally become

saddepressed and our behaviour becomes

altered.

There will be a lot of full-fledged studies into the

true cause and nature of  this disturbing phenomenon

to find out how specifically the "Avatar Effect"

occurs.

This is just a warning for those who are already

having symptoms of the after-effects of watching to

observe thier symptoms and be wary of what they

feel from time to time.

It would be advisable for all those experiencing any

symptoms not to be too far away from family or

friends when experiencing these

feelings or to report to thier doctors immediately till

more updates about this disturbing phenomenon can

be provided.
